Creator of beautiful interior and exterior contemporary art, Tora has worked in sheet metal and specifically stainless steel for 13 years.

"I come from a family of welders and so developed my interest for metal work whilst spending school holidays at my father's factory. I have always loved creating and consider myself incredibly fortunate to have a job that allows me to do so."

In 2005 Tora graduated from University of Hertfordshire with a BA Hons in Product Design. Following her degree, Tora set up Metal Creations UK, a design and fabrication company based in North London.

"Working in sheet metal for so long not only allows me to really understand the potential of my medium but also aids me to create functionally viable, durable and maintainable products. I still work closely with my father and find myself learning everyday from his 40 years experience in the trade."

Tora's work boasts a simple yet elegant style. Each piece is bespoke and so tailored to fit the client's individual needs and livingspace.

"Steel is such an industrial material and so my challenge is always to turn it into something that enhances the environment surrounding it as opposed to standing out from it. I know i'm on to a winning design when I find myself trying to find a space for it in my own home!"
